About DU SOL Online M.Tech for Working Professionals
M.Tech. (Acronym for master of technology) is a professional engineering master’s course that is 24 months long and divided into four semesters. This course covers specializations such as software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, and more. It also covers topics like advanced engineering mathematics, networking, graphics, advanced programming, and more.
However, DU SOL (School of Open Learning, Delhi University) doesn’t provide the M.Tech degree since it is a technical-based program and needs some special attention from the teachers to pursue the overall course. This course also includes practical assignments and experiments, so it cannot be provided online.
Furthermore, the UGC has announced that engineering courses such as B.Tech or M.Tech courses cannot be offered in online mode due to their technical or practical nature. However, Delhi University (DU) has started offering M.Tech courses in the specialization of microwave electronics. Interested candidates can apply for this M.Tech course at Delhi University in this specialization.

Who Can Apply?
The DU Sol doesn’t provide any M.Tech programs. However, there is a general eligibility criteria for an M.Tech course that is as follows:
- Any candidate who has passed the B.Tech or B.E. degree course from a recognized university.
- Candidates must complete their bachelor’s in technology degree with a minimum mark of 50-55%.
However, there is an alternative for an M.Tech program that is also designed for working professionals, known as M.Tech for Working Professionals. The eligibility criteria for this course are the same as the regular ones but some universities also ask for minimum working experience from the candidates.

DU SOL EMI Details
DU SOL offers EMI (Equated Monthly Instalment) financing to its students. This option is accessible to students who pay their course costs in installments rather than all at once. The EMI option is intended to make higher education more affordable and accessible to a wider variety of students who cannot pay the entire tuition upfront.
DU SOL Online M.Tech for Working Professionals Admission Process
The admission method for Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) differs per course and program. The following is an outline of the admissions process:
Step 1: Candidates interested in applying for admission to DU SOL must first register online at the DU SOL official website. Filling out personal information, educational qualifications, and other pertinent information is required throughout the registration process.

DU SOL Online M.Tech for Working Professionals Examination Pattern
The Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) uses a different examination structure for its online programs than traditional pen-and-paper tests. Continuous evaluation and end-of-term tests are part of the examination pattern for online programs. The end-of-term tests are computer-based; students must attend the exam at a testing centre. I am pursing B.Com Hons from DU SOL & I must say that this program is one of the best way to get grdauted in commerce field at an affordable fee structure. I chose this course because of my financial crises but the way of teachning & behavior of teachers has made me realized that it is the best decision of my life.
